“How Can I Help?” We have heard this question from so many of you, as we face new challenges and unknowns every day. In times of change and uncertainty like this, I believe the best in us rises to support our community. You have done that, through your emails, phone calls and your much needed donations. Help Us Fill Emergency Food Bags

WeCAN is committed to doing our part to help our neighbors during the current COVID-19 crisis. We are collaborating with the Westonka School District and our friends at the Westonka Food Shelf to ensure that kids don’t go hungry during this time out of school. WeCAN typically provides our Kids’ Food Bag Program during spring break and summer. During this time, we are offering emergency food bags and personal care bags to clients in need. Can you help? Financial donations can be used to purchase from food banks and other low-cost food sources. Our Response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19)

March 16, 2020 To our clients, volunteers, donors and staff, Today we made the tough decision to close our office to in-person client visits until further notice, although we are doing our best to provide much needed deliveries to our Mobile Market and Meals on Wheels clients. As we all follow the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want you to know that the safety and well-being of WeCAN’s clients, volunteers and staff is our top priority.
