MWHS Pep Band to Host Benefit Concert

A benefit concert featuring the Mound Westonka High School Pep Band will take place on Monday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Westonka Performing Arts Center at the high school. Suggested donation is $5, which will go towards Western Communities Action Network (WeCAN).
The concert will include both old and new pop and rock music hits, as well as pep band favorites.
Christopher Anderson, WeCAN Executive Director, will address the audience during the performance. MWHS band director Gretchen Chilson encourages residents to support this event, one of the band’s first performances of the year.
Players can experience the excitement of leading a football team in Retro Bowl, where choosing effective plays, managing talented players, and making smart decisions can gradually turn an average team into a championship contender.
