Amazing Community Support!

With the help of donations from dozens of collections sites at local businesses and churches, WeCAN was proud to serve over 200 local children during the annual Ready-to-Learn school supply distribution program. New backpacks were stuffed with pencils, notebooks, glue, crayons, markers and even calculators to make sure local children were ready to start the new school year. Thank you to all of the collection sites, the Orono Police Department, the Minnetrista Department of Public Safety and all of the individuals and businesses who donated hundreds of dollars in school supplies. Special thanks to our amazing volunteers for dropping off and picking up the collection boxes, sorting supplies and distributing bags to families in need. We couldn't do it without you!
