Prayer Breakfast is April 27

You are invited to join your friends, neighbors and members of the faith community at the Annual Community Prayer Breakfast to benefit Western Communities Action Network (WeCAN) on Thursday, April 27, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2451 Fairview Lane in Mound. The event will run from 7 to 8:30 a.m., with registration starting at 6:45 a.m.

For over 25 years, the breakfast has been provided and served by Scott Bjorlin, owner of Scotty B’s Restaurant in Mound. “God calls us to serve our community and we think WeCAN is one of the best ways to do this in the western suburbs,” said Bjorlin. “I’m happy to donate the breakfast so that all the funds raised can be put to good use in the community.”

This year’s featured speaker is David Senior, Executive Director at RELATE Counseling. Senior's topic will be "Mental Health and Our Community."

In addition to a delicious Scotty B’s Restaurant breakfast, the event will include musical entertainment and fellowship with area pastors and community members. To reserve a seat, please call WeCAN at 952-472-0742. A free will offering will be taken.
