WeCAN Meals on Wheels
Since 1974, the WeCAN Meals on Wheels program has provided fresh, nutritious meals delivered directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Without Meals on Wheels, many would not have the proper nutrition to maintain good health. As part of our goal of keeping community members self-sufficient, Meals on Wheels helps to keep clients in their homes and living independently for as long as possible.
But it's about more than food. Volunteer drivers deliver more than just meals each week —for many homebound individuals, it is a vital check-in. For some recipients the volunteer visit is one of their only contact they have with the outside world.

Meal Delivery Service Area
Our Meals on Wheels service area is slightly smaller than the general WeCAN service area. Meals are delivered to St. Bonifacius, Mound, Spring Park, Minnetonka Beach, Minnetrista, Maple Plain, Long Lake, Orono and parts of Tonka Bay, Independence and Loretto.
